SGAC Transactive Energy Mgt Working Party Transactive Energy refers to the combination of economic and control techniques that together can improve grid reliability and efficiency as the scale of flexible distributed energy resources increases. Each approach (economic or control) brings capabilities and limitations, but together they have the potential to reinforce each other and help increase system flexibility, reliability while achieving operational and economic objectives. The Transactive Energy Working Party will bring together stakeholders for the purpose of developing architectural guidance and recommendations to assure maximum interoperability.
